North Wales Probation Area monitors and reports all aspects of its service delivery on a regular and ongoing basis. The majority of this work is undertaken by the Performance and Planning Unit, (PPU).
The PPU compiles and publishes performance monitoring reports which include a wide range of results and management information.
The reports are circulated throughout the organisation, to senior managers, and Probation Board members. The reports include details of our perfomance against our Key Performance targets, which are determined by the Area's Service Level Agreements.
The Key Performance results are reported to the NOMS Performance Directorate and the Director of Offender Management (Wales) on a monthly basis.
