NWPA use the EEM, which has been developed from the internationally recognised European Business Excellence Model as the framework for business planning and to improve our organisation and performance against key business targets and results.
The Area conducts an annual self-assessment against the EEM criteria using an external consultant. The assessment process enables us to identify priority areas for improvement and areas of strengths. The NWPA and the other Probation areas in Wales produce an All Wales Self Assessment Report and have also been assessed by the Wales Quality Centre and achieved a quality award for Best Public Sector organisation in Wales.
Corporate Health Gold Award
NWPA currently hold the Corporate Standard Health at Work Gold Award, which was presented in 2005 and is valid until December 2008. This was awarded in recognition of our achievements in workplace health promotion.
Green Dragon Standard
NWPA has previously held the Green Dragon Environmental Standard level 3.
